Kellanova (NYSE: K) is a publicly listed company headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, United States that owns 10 consumer brands, and has 2 recorded transactions.[1]
Kellanova is the global snacking company created in October 2023 when the Kellogg Company split in two, keeping Pringles and the international cereal and snack business. Mars agreed to acquire it in August 2024.
The Kellogg Company split into two listed companies: the global snacking business renamed itself Kellanova and kept Pringles and the international cereal brands, while the North American cereal business was spun off as WK Kellogg Co with the Battle Creek headquarters.
Kellogg sold Keebler, Famous Amos and the rest of its cookies and fruit snacks business to Ferrero as it concentrated on snacks and cereal. The seller entity later became Kellanova in the 2023 split.
