Frosted Flakes and 4 other brands was separated from Kellanova as WK Kellogg Co on 2 October 2023.[1]
The Kellogg Company split into two listed companies: the global snacking business renamed itself Kellanova and kept Pringles and the international cereal brands, while the North American cereal business was spun off as WK Kellogg Co with the Battle Creek headquarters.
The spin-off transferred the North American cereal brands to WK Kellogg Co; the same brand names outside North America stayed with Kellanova, so several cereals now have two owners by territory.
