About Breguet
Breguet was founded in Paris in 1775 by Abraham-Louis Breguet, who invented the tourbillon and much else that modern watchmaking still uses. Swatch Group acquired it in 1999 and it is the group's most expensive brand. Breguet also produced the first known wristwatch, made in 1810 for the Queen of Naples, decades before wristwatches were common.
