About Friso
Friso is an infant formula sold principally in China, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia, where Dutch dairy provenance commands a substantial premium. It is one of FrieslandCampina's most profitable products and its largest business in Asia. Chinese demand for imported formula rose sharply after a domestic contamination scandal in 2008, and European brands have held a price premium there ever since.
