About Stabburet

Stabburet makes liver pâté, caviar spread and other packaged foods that are staples of the Norwegian open sandwich. Its tube-packed cod roe spread is a breakfast item with almost no equivalent outside Scandinavia. Orkla owns it, and its liver pâté in particular is eaten on crispbread and open sandwiches in a way that has no direct counterpart outside Norway and its Nordic neighbours.
