About JOBST
JOBST makes medical compression garments for venous and lymphatic conditions, founded in 1950 by an engineer who had the condition himself and designed the first graduated compression stocking. Essity sells it through its health and medical division. Graduated compression is tighter at the ankle than the calf, which is what drives blood back towards the heart.
