About Craftsman
Craftsman was Sears' house tool brand from 1927 and carried a lifetime replacement guarantee that made it a fixture of American garages. Stanley Black & Decker bought the brand from Sears in 2017 as that retailer collapsed. The buyer moved much of the production back to the United States and expanded distribution to Lowe's and Ace Hardware.
