Ferrero acquires Butterfinger and 2 other brands (2018)

Ferrero completed the acquisition of Butterfinger and 2 other brands on 31 March 2018 for $2.8 billion, buying from Nestlé.[1]

Nestlé sold its United States confectionery business, including Butterfinger, Baby Ruth, Crunch and around twenty other brands, to Ferrero. Nestlé kept its confectionery businesses in every other market.
